Pollock Catchers Association (PCA) and Pacific Scientific Research Fisheries Centre (TINRO) have signed a contract to work out improvement actions for monitoring and observation program aimed at increasing scientific observer coverage of Sea of Okhotsk pollock fishery.

As it was announced in January 2015, PCA has designed Sustainability Development Program for the Navarinsky Pollock Fishery in the West Bering Sea and aimed at having the fishery certified to the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certification.
